OpenZeppelin is the leading crypto-native software & security company, bringing foundational blockchain technology, infrastructure and security to builders and users of the decentralized economy.
The fellowship's 3-month program aims to onboard and fully train participants as full-time Blockchain Security Researchers through a guided and instructive process. Fellows will have the opportunity to work closely with the OpenZeppelin team of world-class blockchain security expert auditors to develop the knowledge and skills to kickstart their career at OpenZeppelin.

Fellowship Program Timeline
Phase 1
Intro and coursework diving deep into security, Solidity and EVM vulnerabilities, upgradeability, access control, transaction ordering, scalability, DeFi, tooling, and more.
Phase 2
Experience a live security audit by shadowing alongside experts on the OpenZeppelin Security Research team.
Phase 3
Work together with your mentor to produce your own in-depth security research on a topic that interests you.

What do I need to pass the program? And what happens if I pass the program?

You need to attend all sessions, complete the coursework and successfully pass each phase of the fellowship program. From day one, you will be hired full time as a Blockchain Security Researcher.

What is the time commitment and compensation for the fellowship?

This is a full time commitment throughout the program. You will be paid a competitive entry-level salary plus the other benefits available for the Blockchain Security Researcher role.

If accepted, fellows will become full-time employees of OpenZeppelin from day one. The fellowship program provides training and support to help ensure your success.
